Miriam-Webster has added a new word to our lexicon. That new word is 'mouse potato' and it means 'a person who spends a great deal of time using a computer. The definition sure makes sense to me; I know that I am not a 'couch' potato, heck, I hardly ever watch tv. But I am on the computer much more often. I even have my laptop set up on my downstairs dining room table just so I don't have to go 'all the way upstairs' to get online or access my email.
